Turmec are proud to support UNICEF Ireland's Vaccine Fund which is helping tackle COVID-19, while also making a life-changing investment in the health and future of children around the world.

The COVID-19 pandemic has touched every aspect of our lives, with a scale and speed unseen in our lifetimes. Without a truly worldwide operation, COVID-19 will continue to hurt our families, damage our economies, and rob children of their prospects for good health, a good education, and bright future.

Turmec’s donation to The Vaccine Fund will support UNICEF’s once-in-a-generation effort to combat Covid-19; UNICEF is leading the global procurement and supply operation of billions of COVID-19 vaccines as part of the COVAX initiative - the world’s largest and fastest ever vaccination collaboration.

UNICEF’s immunisation programme works in over 100 countries with partners in governments, NGOs, and the private sector to provide immunisation to the children who need it the most. Delivering lifesaving supplies to children in greatest need often means working in the most complex, remote and challenging environments, amid under-resourced and over-stretched health systems.

By supporting UNICEF’s COVID-19 vaccine operation Turmec is also helping to create a unique legacy of immunisation infrastructure in the world’s most remote and vulnerable communities. UNICEF is funded entirely by voluntary contributions, and Turmec are proud to support the organisation’s drive to provide immunisation to the children who need it the most.
