Brian Thornton, CEO of Turmec, commented: “This plant has been designed to the tightest design constraints of the site to improve the existing operation and allow for expansion of the business. It will evolve as EMT Recycling grows and responds to new market drivers. The configuration and layout make it the most efficient, effective and innovative to be found anywhere in the south-west of the UK.” Amy McCormack, director of ETM Recycling, said: “It seems like a long time ago when we put the wheels in motion for this, but since the build began at the start of the year it really gathered pace. To finally have it open and operational has been well worth the wait.
